Think carefully before downloading.

This is my first App Store review and I’m sad to say it has to be a word of caution.

This app was a pay-once and use. It has now been converted to a subscription service. This is the trend for app developers because of the opportunity to generate continuous revenue streams rather than depending on one time purchases. I understand this. However, there has to be a better way to care for the orignial users. This one offers 3 months of free continued service. Although it is similar to the original price paid it falls short of engendering the goodwill they hoped.

There are now too many subcription or add on apps out there. Value has been lost in the competition for our finite resources.

The product nor subscription isn’t revolutionary enough to replace other free or lower cost options.

Consider yourself warned and may the buyer not only “beware" but also be heard.
