This app is ok. Their pricing needs a middle ground. They switched to Freemium due to piracy but if they’d had a reasonable price to begin with, that wouldn’t have been a problem. So instead, the Freemium version is mediocre and the Pro…forget it. The subscription price is ridiculous.
There should be a paid Pro version, not a subscription, one payment of no more than $9.99 at the most. They would avoid the piracy problem and realistically, that’s more than a fair price for another word processor that only offers a couple of extra features for a pricey subscription: Evernote sync is nice but has become a standard free feature in many apps, and multple accounts, also nice but Wordpress and Blogger have tons of other options already and the only other platform supported is Medium which is also gaining alternate app support.
Social Mirrors, cross posting to your blogs, again a nice feature but a free IFTTT recipe or two can do not only the same, but more platforms if you wanted.
I’m not sure who is advising all these companies to switch to a subscription format but speaking for myself (and everyone I’ve asked), but I keep maybe 3 subscription services at the most per month and that’s it. If I can’t buy the app outright, I find an alternative. And I’ve always found an alternative no matter what the app was.
