Doesn’t work

App is “not responding” when you try to connect to Evernote or Preview a post. Don’t waste your money!

HTML EDITOR!!!!

We really need html editor! WYSIWYG editor is not so flexible and very poor! 5 stars when you update to html editor.

thumbnails do not work

Paste does not work in the post thumbnails. The program crashes. Please fix it. Please add the html editor

Good application w/o HTML editor :(

Thank you for your application. It’s very beauty and comfortable, but I have one problem - HTML editor. I use my blog to write some posts with code. So, I must use HTML tags :( Now, I wrote my posts offline in Blogo, and before publishing, I must enter to web interface of my site and insert code :( Please, fix it as soon as it possible.

Doesn’t work!

The social autoshare doesn’t work! Really need a fix

Issue solved

issue solved and to be addressed @ mac app store- great support by Blogo guys

No category or tag selection

Don’t be fool with the app video, its well done, the app doesn’t support what its important for every wordpress blogger, choosing the category or tag for the post, this app suppose to help the blogger, not to make his tasks difficult, its a double effort, adding post and then edit in wordpress editor. Also deleting a post in Wordpress, still show that post in the app, the feature image doesn’t work also. I make a bad step to buy the app before i test it, reading comment in support, some users claim that issue, since last year.

Such potential, so poorly executed

I really wanted to like this app. I really did. But why, WHY do you insist in showing images as silly little narrow images?!?!? These silly things are a major distraction as I blog and quickly starts to irritate me no end! Furthermore, inserting a new image places it at the top, not where your cursor is. I am constantly fighting the way this app crippels the usa of images and for a photographer like me, this simply makes the app useless! My second gripe is the same as mane here. I PAID for this app and they have now changes the way it is licensed, WITHOUT warning. Should be thrown out of the app store by Apple! The concept of this app is brilliant, it looks good too, but the images and licensing destroys it for me.

No

App is totally unusable without creating yet another online account. It would have been benificial to point that out in the app description.

jumping on the subscription bandwagon

Yeah, I think that was a little lousy to make an update that switches to a subscription model. I would have avoided updating if I had read the fine text. In my mind this was a poor decision, but I guess their strategy is try it for a few years and then pitch it if its not worth paying a subscription for. After all this though, makes just using the web interface a little more appealing. OLDER REVIEW I’ll leave the old review down below. I’ve had this since it came out and after each update I will try it out, but have to say it basically has almost no functionality aside from just making a quick word post. Otherwise, sorting, viewing, editing, everything is cumbersome, non-existent or just doesn’t work (with warning errors that don’t make sense). I know the developers are working on it, but I can’t say I would recommend this... OLDEST REVIEW I read all the reviews and despite all the warnings that it’s beta went ahead and made the purchase. It is a good start, they’ve put in good effort and attention to detail. It’s going to need a lot of work, and I really hope it will develop. Most frustrating, is the lack of functions within the app. Basic things like choosing from pre-existing categories that you always post with or other simple fields that modify posts, none of these exist. I keep going back and back to this app hoping that it can provide a fast way of updating sites, but I find it too questionable that I never know what I’m going to get and it doesn’t handle things correctly (text formatting, video embeds, categories, etc). What is good : the strong point is posting. You can write and post really quickly, just like editing a text document. Other smaller issues : lack ability to filter and sort content. It’s hard to see clearly what is in your blog. This could be such an awesome app if it offered good ways to really interact with the posts and pages inside of a WP blog. Instead, right now Pages and Posts are just all clumped together in an unhelpful way and you can’t even adjust the width of the post title column to read the complete titles to find what you are looking for. I was really hoping for the ability to make some quick modifications and edits which can be so cumbersome in WP. I haven’t found the major speed problems that others mentioned, so maybe the update helped improve those issues.

Complete slap in the face

Horrible rip off. Bring back the old app without the stupid subscription service

Crashes All the Time — not ready for Prime Time

Crashes whenever I go to set an image as the Featured image. No way to select existing categories and tags.

No WYSIWYG Images?

I thought this app had some good possibilites early on for replacing my favorite Windows blogging app, LiveWriter. Unfortunately, Blogo has decided to not actually show any images that you insert into your content. I do a lot of photography and I like to write about the images I am placing in my posts, so I need to be able to see them while I am writing. This app only shows a generic placeholder for your images without any option to show them. This issue alone has forced me to not use the app and revert back to the browser-based WordPress editor which I think is a better editor at this point. I can actually view my images in it! Wow, what a concept!

it save alot of time

i love it and it simple ..nice app

Continues to improve

I had a lot of problems with my wordpress blog and previous versions, but the last few updates have seadily improved things. Image posting is still a bit wonky, the default resizing could use some work ala Wordpress. But the fixes are now good enough to use this as a primary authoring tool.

I’m in love with Blogo

I have two blogs, one on WordPress and the other on Blogspot. With Blogo I can write on both blogs on the same interface, no more pain switching between websites and editors. I was waiting for Blogspot support since it’s launch and now that the waiting is over I can say that it changed the way I write and publish in my blogs.

The best app for bloggers!

I was using Blogo for my WordPress blogs and loving it. They finally added Blogger support and I can say that it’s awesome. The simplicity of the UX makes it very straight forward to just write my blog posts. Looking forward to see what’s coming next! keep up the good work!!

So far dissapointed.

Just starting to use so perhaps I just do not understand it. Do not find it intuitive. Poorly organized structure on the showing of pages and posts. does not so far put posts under the page it is filed under on site. Does not give an updated view of the website until you log out and log back in. Crashes. And I am having a struggle posting media.

Really great app. Easy to Use.

I tried their trial first on the website. Worked great. Super easy to use, so I bought it. Great software for blogging.

Finally!

I was a little bit frustrated wih Blogo due to not being able to choose categories and tags. Now that feature is here and is super useful! Now I’m happy to add more Wordpress blogs to my Blogo app. Thank you!
